How to Create the Perfect Shell

Welcome to Custom Miche! Before you get started with your shell, here are a few tips and tricks to help you create the most stunning shell in town!

Photo Questions

What is DPI?

DPI stands for "Dots Per Inch" and refers to the amount of individual dots per square inch in an image. Generally speaking, the higher the DPI, the higher the quality of a picture. Since we are printing your shells on different fabrics with their own unique textures, some of the quality of a photo is always lost, but we still highly recommend that you use the highest quality photos to avoid any bad prints.

What if I upload a low quality photo?

We want to make every Custom Miche customer happy. Part of this process means we review every order before it is printed and shipped. If we think that the quality isn't going to be high enough because of the source image, we will try to contact you before printing.

Why can't I edit my photo on your website?

Photo editing software is incredibly complex, and though we like to think we have a very tech savvy group, it's definitely not our expertise. If you need to alter colors, crop your photo, add lighting effects such as black & white, or sepia, we highly recommend using any of the following websites or programs: www.Picnik.com | www.Photobucket.com | Adobe Photoshop | iPhoto
