What is Custom Miche Gallery?

The Custom Miche Gallery are all Miche Bag shells created by YOU! That's right! Make your own Miche Bag shell and get paid to do it! Every month The Custom Miche Gallery will present up to 15 new Miche Shell designs by you!

I can get paid?

Yes! You can earn money for your shells! For every gallery shell you have in the store you earn a 5% Commission for as long as it's featured! No expirations, no caps!

How do I sign up?

Start by submitting your shells to the email address below. Once sent, you'll receive further information and details from us here at Custom Miche to get you started displaying your shell to the world!

Your full name, and the name you wish to be displayed next to the artwork and a name for your shell!

Custom Miche Submissions Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for artwork to get approved?

Usually it takes between 2-3 weeks for the approval process. If you do not receive an email within 3 weeks of your submission please feel free to contact us here to let us know. We get a lot of submissions per day and don't want anybody to get lost in the intertubes!

I got an email back that says my artwork won't work. Why?

For us to be able to put any of your artwork on a Miche shell we need it to be an exact size and resolution. To make sure that this happens we need all submissions to be put into our free, downloable templates. You can find them here: Custom Miche Submission Templates.

PLEASE NOTE: If you submit a design without putting it into the template the approval process will be extended since we cannot assure that your artwork will fit the size required.

I'm not a designer. How do I use your templates?

The easiest way to put your pictures in our template is to use photo editing software (like Adobe Photoshop, or Gimp) and copy/paste your photos into the template we provide you with.

In addition, please make sure the layer with the guidelines on it is turned off - we want to see just your artwork!

What happens once I'm approved?

Once approved you will receieve an email asking you to fill out your information so that we can pay you for the shells you sell! Because some of the information is sensitive material we ask that you fax us back your information or mail it to us directly.

I am from outside the United States, can I submit to the Gallery?

Unfortunately, at this time, we can only handle submissions from United States residents only.

My name is wrong! Can you change it?

Yes! If ANY information is wrong or needs to be changed please send us an email to design@custommiche.com, subject line: changes.

Rules and guidelines (you know there had to be some)...

Welcome to the Custom Miche Gallery where customers like yourself have the opportunity to be the designer! Custom Miche was designed to allow you to create a one-of-a-kind shell. We have had an over-whelming response to this project and some fantastic submissions. Due to this success and inquires from customers, the Custom Miche Gallery was implemented to allow you the opportunity to share your design with other Miche Bag fans. Each shell has been designed by a fellow enthusiast and approved by Miche Bag to be a part of the Gallery. All Custom shells fit both the black and brown bases. Though Custom Miche is a unique line of shells held to the same high standards as Miche Bag designer shells, so you can rest assured that you are ordering a high quality product. Note: Custom Miche Gallery is not a 'design service.' We can only accept shell designs that have been put into our templates (see above) and sent to us. Please do not send us rough ideas, single pictures, or sketch artwork. If you have any questions about this please email us at support@custommiche.com.

You must:
Own the image or have permission from the owner to use the image on your shell
Have approval from the owner if you use any logo, name, or tag line that isn’t yours.
Custom Miche holds the right to accept or deject any image. Images that are prohibited include:
Trademarks, copyrighted materials, advertising, or branding.
Celebrities, musicians, athletes, entertainers, or other public figures.
Cartoon characters or artwork that you have not created and/or do not have permission from the copyright owner to use.
Violent, offensive, anti-social, or death imagery - including any other material that could be perceived as violent.
Provocative, lewd, or sexual content - including nude, semi-nude, or partially clothed pictures of people of any age
Socially unacceptable or discriminatory behavior or signs. For example, gangs, hatred, drug or alcohol abuse, graffiti, profanity, or other obscene behavior or gestures.
If your image is not approved because it doesn’t meet these guidelines, or for any other reason, you will be notified by email. You may then submit another image.
Things to keep in mind:
Ideal background images will have a width of 3605px (12") and a height of 2400px (8"). Custom Miche provides some templates for use to help you meet our image size guidelines. You may download those here.
If you’re not sure about the size or pixel dimensions of your image, it may be faster and easier to find the image you wish to use before you browse and attempt to upload your image to the Custom Miche application.

On a PC, you can usually find image size and pixel dimensions by right-clicking on the file and selecting "Properties".
On a Mac, you can usually find pixel dimensions by clicking on the file and selecting "Get Info"

Larger images may take longer to upload depending on your connection speed.
Small images may not reproduce well in print.
