Miche Bag Opportunities

There are two different means of marketing the Miche Bag®. One is as a distributor and the other as home party representative. A distributor buys product directly from the company and maintains an adequate inventory at all times to supply his/her channels of distribution. These channels include, but are not limited to home parties (whether direct to hostesses or through reps), providing wholesale distribution to local retailers (salons, boutiques, etc.), purse parties, and tradeshows or exhibitions.

The other opportunity is to become a representative which means you work with a local distributor to facilitate/schedule home parties. Reps make a commission based upon their sales. This commission varies, but tends to be in the range of 25%. These opportunities are set up directly through our authorized distributors, and may not be available if there is no authorized distributor near you.

Advantages and disadvantages: Distributors have better margins and more opportunities. However, the upfront inventory investment is in the neighborhood of $8-9K. Distributors are the only entity permitted to sell to retailers. Also, business ownership experience is preferred and reflects well to the approval committee, for those interested in a distributorship.

Reps are not required to stock any inventory. They can pick up what they need, as they need it. Being a rep also does not require any business experience. It is simple and can be successful for everyone with very little commitment or investment. This is a great opportunity for a second job, fun hobby, or prefect if you have experience in direct sales.
