Purse Party Activities

Everyone wants to throw THE most talked about Purse Party in town! There are a few things you can do to make sure that all your friends and family are buzzing about your Purse Parties the next day!

A great Purse Party has fun games and activities that keep your guests engaged and participating while educating them about the chic purses and shells that are available exclusively through Miche Bags! We here at Miche Bag have designed a number of games that excite and entertain your Purse Party guests!

The games have been broke up in to a few different categories; Ice Breakers, Just for fun, and getting to know Miche Bags. To learn more about the game, and how to play just read the short descriptions below!

Name Game

This is a great game for the guests to break the ice and get to know each other better. Each guest says her name and then makes a sentence using every letter in her name. Lots of laughs and complete nonsense.

Example: Chris = Chris Had Roses In Shoes / Linda = Linda Is Near Darling Arnold

What's in a Purse

This game is great to help get everyone at your Miche Bag Purse Party loosened up! You start out by letting everyone know that they it is time to dig deep into the bowels of their purses, cause with this game the faster you can find and hand the item to the host the more likely you will win! You can have teams with this game or have everyone for themselves. You can then also have them hand the item to you, or you can have a table or coffee table be the location where they have to get the item to. The first person or team to put the item in the host’s hand or on he table gets the point. All these items are things that you might find in a purse, and to earn the point it must be found in one of the player’s purse!

Example items: 16 cents in change, lipstick, tissue, phone, band-aid, eye liner, pantyhose, mirror, compact, pen, receipt, credit card, check book, hair brush, a dollar bill, battery, picture, gum, mints,

Bonus points: For the oddest/ most embarrassing item in a purse.

Laughing Hankie Game

While this game might sound and seem silly at first glance, after trying this out in the Miche Purse Party lab we have discovered that not only is this game a real ice break, but it leads to lots of laughing and fun!

In turn each contestant throws a handkerchief up in the air and catches it. After catching it, he quickly passes it along to the next contestant, who does the same thing. While the handkerchief is in the air (but not being tossed to the next thrower), all the other contestants must laugh raucously, and immediately stop laughing when it is caught. This fast-paced game is over when players who inappropriately laugh, or fail to, are eliminated.

Hostess Submitted Ideas

You can give everyone time to look over all of the brochures and any other pictures of the purses. Then, after a few minutes, pick up anything that has shell pictures and names on them and put them away. Then, have the guests see who can correctly name 5 shells. The person who names the most correctly wins! Prizes for games can include personal coupons that you make that are good for that evening's purchases. ($10 off or 10% off) Or you can offer a shell as a prize or a set of handles.

Find a Miche shell that has your name. Take turns telling the other ladies if this shell with your name reflects your style or not. If not, then find a shell that does and show it off to everyone.

I have a GREAT party game that I have played several times and everyone has loved it. Here is the Game: As guests arrive, they will get a label put on their backs with the name of a woman on it. The names can be famous, fictional, or non fictional, such as Lucy, Jackie O, Peg Bundy, Cher, Madonna, Marge Simpson, Sharon Osborn, Marylin Monroe, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, etc....you get the idea. Then, the women have to ask other women yes or no questions (such as: am I a real person, am I still alive, am I a actor etc.) to try and figure out who they are. The first person who guesses right wins. I print these labels up on avery address labels ahead of time and as the guests come in I put the label on their backs and explain the game. This is a great ice breaker game because it gets everyone talking and ends up with a ton of laughs.

In the beginning, you can pass around a couple of binders with all of the shells. Give everyone about 15 minutes to look at them. DON'T tell them they will be doing a game! Then, pass out pen & paper. You then tell everyone that they have 5 minutes to write down as many names as they can remember. Who ever has the most correct names wins a prize - long straps, purse organizer, etc.

I have an idea for a fun and silly game. Place items in a Miche Bag that can be put on and worn by guests. You can be as silly or as kinky as you like. For example: Big ugly jewelry, clown nose, extremely large granny underwear or a thong (to be worn over clothing of course), a huge bra, ugly or silly sunglasses, scarf etc. Have each guest choose one out of the Miche Bag without looking. Then, they have to wear whatever they pull out! Distributor/Sales Rep. will choose before game which item is the winning item without telling anyone and whoever has drawn that item and actually wears it will get the prize. You could actually make them wear it the entire party!

I have a great idea for a game that I use at my shows. It has been working great so far. It involves everyone. I call it the Left Right Game. Everyone stands in a circle, I read the following story and the Miche Bag gets passed around.

WOW! I can't believe how amazing this purse is! I was introduced to MICHE right when I left a knock-off purse party. Miche came about from a lady named Michelle who loved her purse. She carried it left & right wherever she went. One day she was driving, turned left and then right, and spilled coffee all over her favorite purse. She was left in tears. Purse game: Use Letters while explaining how Miche Bags work, first few to pull out item from purse with that letter gets a ticket; at the end the person with the most tickets wins!

Show how they work - Black base/brown base (B for base)
Explain warranty and earth magnets (W for Warranty) and (E for Earth)
Explain Bundle package - Choose your base and then choose 2 or 4 shells (S for Shell) and (P for Premium Shells)
Show my purse and describe how much you can fit into the purse, pull things out! (F for Fit)

Miche Bingo:

I have created two different bingo games, printed 12 bingo cards for each game and laminated them.

One bingo game has things that you will find in someone's purse: tissue, lip stick, keys, aspirin, etc. Each bingo card is different and some have items that others do not. The guests love the game and if they get bingo, they can either choose a nice gift, 10% off a bundle or get a free shell.

The other bingo game is Purse bingo. Current Miche Bag purses with shells are pictured on the game board. For example, across you might find Jayma, Stacy Black, Yellow Zoe and so on. This game is used to introduce the shells and can also help introduce the premium shells with the higher prices. As a shell is removed from the rep kit, the guests are told, This is Jayma, our giraffe print shell. Guests with the Jayma on their card cross off the Jayma. First to get a bingo wins as above. Once someone gets a bingo, the rest of the shells are introduced for the guests to play with. A regular vis a vis marker is great for the game but to make it really fun, get mini gummy bears and put them into a bowl with tongs. Each guest can grab a pile of gummy bears and use those for markers and a few for treats as the game progresses. These bingo games make the party fun and interesting and offer a little gift or reduced price on a shell or bundle.

I give everyone a sheet with all the current shells. Then I say....I'm looking for the shell that is black with zippers. The first person to yell out "Brittany" wins a business card. I continue on with a number of other shells. Then whoever has the most business cards at the end wins. This is a way for everyone to take a closer look at all the shells and collect my business cards to pass on to friends and family.
